Diamantopetra Red Wine

Diamantakis is a modern winery in Crete, in the heart of the Malevizi province. The Diamantakis family established the winery in 2007, the family have been making wine for three generations. Their vineyards, 25 hectares of vines, are in an area rich with winemaking history using varieties such as Assyrtiko, Vidiano and Mandilari.

This fragrant red wine is comprised of 70% Syrah and 30% of their native Mandilaria grape. The Cretan Mandilari offers the strength, tannins and the acidity while the international and distinguished Syrah brings in richness and firmness of the wine. The two varieties are vinified separately before spending 12 months in American and French oak barrels.
